Three special tests put the Kawasaki rider to the test: a fast Cross Test, n Test and a complex Extreme Test which were repeated four times on Saturday and three on Sunday, thus deciding the final standing. The 2024 Assoluti d'Italia round kicked off on Friday with the late afternoon Super Test.
 
Davide Soreca kicked off his race weekend in the right gear; the Saturday was in fact characterised by excellent times, among which a fifth overall position in the extreme test. Sunday was not as kind; having witnessed the injury of the direct competitor slightly compromised the approach of the Italian rider. Despite this, Davide still pushed to sign the best possible result. So two class victories arrived and provided Soreca the ideal momentum for the Italian Grand Prix.
 
Davide Soreca: “I'm happy with my weekend; Saturday was a really nice day. The feeling was great and I had some great times. The development of the bike is proceeding in the right direction and I am very happy with that. On Sunday unfortunately the feeling was not the best, having witnessed Oldrati's injury marked me. We are human after all. I wish Thomas a speedy recovery.”
